Pizza Crosta was created to fill a need in the Atlanta/Sandy Springs market for a high quality pizzas, salads, flatbreads and calzones served in a friendly, clean and fast environment. Our concept is based around designing pizzas and salads to your specific desires. We strive to provide a setting that is comfortable and we really try to work as quickly as possible with respect for the value of your time as a cornerstone of our concept.
We treat our products and ingredients with the utmost respect. We use only the finest flour along with top quality semolina in our dough. We have imported only the most virgin olive oil from Italy and we use hand selected yeast. Our dough is made fresh every single day, we would never think about freezing it. We offer both our regular white dough and a whole grain dough made with the highest quality stone-ground whole grain flour. We hand-toss each and every pizza and never use a press or other type of machine. We believe that we were given our hands to craft things and what is more beautiful of an object than a perfect hand-crafted pizza.
We use a very specific mozzarella cheese that we have sourced from the most eco-friendly farms possible. We have an exact specification for the amount of milk fat in our mozzarella that creates the perfect amount of creaminess while limiting the amount of grease it produces. We leave our mozzarella in whole blocks until shredding it at the last possible moment to keep it as fresh as possible and prevent it from drying out.
We have the largest selection of toppings and choices in the Southeast. Each one of our topping are hand-selected to meet our exacting specifications. We handle each one with great care. We roast our onions, saute our garlic and marinate and roast our chicken. We make our own Italian sausage by lovingly blending, forming and cooking it. We source the highest quality Gogonzola, Feta and Goat cheeses. We slow-roast our pork and we hand-slice our pepperonis and salamis. We have stopped and examined each and every topping and found the way to offer the best possible version.
The owner, Sam Abdullah has over 25 years experience in the pizza business and has devoted his professional career to the study of dough and the science behind it. He has become a student of ovens and all of the different makes and models and the pros and cons of each. He has chosen to use only the very best oven, it is made right here in America by Woodstone in Seattle, WA.
